Description
Pure Yoga is a production iOS app for a yoga studio chain in Saudi Arabia. It handles regular class bookings, private one-on-one classes with branch and time-slot selection, package purchases for buying classes in bulk, and a gifting feature where users can buy yoga classes for other people.
Sole React Native engineer on the app for 2+ years — took over ownership when joining and handled all feature development, bug fixes, and App Store releases.
- Shipped the packages flow end-to-end — users can buy bundles of classes and the system tracks their balance across bookings.
- Built the private class booking flow — branch selection, time-slot picking, and private session requests with instructor assignment.
- Led a full Apple Developer account migration — coordinated the App Store Connect transfer, regenerated provisioning profiles and code-signing certificates under the new team ID, rebuilt the IPA from scratch, and shipped a clean release from the new account without disrupting existing users or losing reviews/ratings.
- Maintained ongoing release cycles, iOS version compatibility updates, and all App Store submissions over the two-year ownership period.
